| Sir, Every Indian is proud of the chess wizard Vishwanathan Anand, when he created a history at Bonn by retaining the World Chess Championship against the Russian challenger Valadimir Kramnik and winning the title by 6.5-4.5. The King of 64 squares showed his supremacy by scoring a comprehensive win over his arch rival. In a career spanning over two decades, the towering phenomenon that is Anand has displayed tremendous resilience and perseverance. He has ended the dominance of the Ks of Russia. Unmatched consistency, absolute mastery and total involvement have been the hallmark of this 39-year-old champion during a career spanning 25 years. While he has done the country proud by achieving the rare distinction of winning world titles in three different formats, of the game. That is Viswanathan Anand for us! Mohali has proved to be a Waterloo for the Indian Team where it gave a crushing defeat to the Kangaroos. All the cricket loving Indians are overjoyed over this convincing win as they have got the Diwali,s gift of joys prior to Diwali.The credit for this goes to the will power and the superb job done by all the players.
